FAMILIAR SOUNDS FROM YOUR BODY.

PUKE= to vomit. (The baby PUKED all over me this morning). Synonym: BARF.

SLURP= to make a loud noice while you are drinking something hot. (Everyone looked at her when she SLURPED her tea).

BELCH= to let air come up noisily from your stomach and out through your mouth. (After having the delicious dinner, he BELCHED loudly).

HAVE BUTTERFLIES IN YOUR STOMACH= to have a nervous feeling in your stomach before doing sth important. ( I always HAVE BUTTERFLIES IN MY STOMACH just before facing an interview).

HICCUP= a sharp, repeated uncontrollable sound made in the throat.(I ate so quickly and got HICCUPS).

SNORE= to breathe noisely through your nose and mouth while you are asleep. (I could hear Harry SNORING in the next room).

SNEEZE= to have air come suddenly through your nose and mouth in a way that you can't control, for example because you have cold. (I've been SNEEZING all morning).

FART= to let air from the bowels come out through the backside of your body. (We couldn't help laughing when he FARTED loudly during the discussion!!).
